The Royal Mint

When you make a purchase from The Royal Mint you're not simply buying a coin,
you're owning a piece of history.

This quote is from the 1,100-year-old Mint, which is producing 50 percent more gold bullion coins than last year. Sales in January rose by a third.
The Royal Mint sells the Britannia and the Sovereign gold- and silver coins. It is also possible to buy bars from one gram to one kilo. The British coins are not favorites among bullion buyers, as the mint total gold sales was only 237 000 ounces in 2016.
The US Mint sold 1.2 million ounces gold Eagle and Buffalo coins. Perth Mint sold 520 000 ounces of gold and the Austrian Mint sold 534 000 ounces of gold Philharmonic coins in 2016.
An informative article at Reuters gives an account of the increase in bullion sales from the ancient Royal Mint of Great Britain. Royal Mint bullion coin sales
