The People
of Norway gave The People of India 20 million dollars as Development Aid in 2017.
The Indian Central Bank bought and stashed away gold for 600 million dollars.
The Indian Central
bank does not need to buy more gold when the hundreds of millions of dollars
spent could have been used to improve the living standard of the Indian people.
It is shameful to accept development aid with one hand and buy gold with the
other. Norwegian and Indian politicians should stop playing the money game and
focus on development in the real sense of the word.
