Thirty-one years after I wrote the story: “Pink Volcano Explorer”, pink diamonds are integrated in pink gold ingots by Perth Mint, Australia. The story was illustrated and inked by the Norwegian Pink Panther illustrator, Erik Nordgård whose magic hand produced hundreds of mind-blowing cartoon pages of the slinky prankster.
